1/4" 15 ips (IEC/CCIR) First Generation Reel to Reel Tapes

Walter Smith III- tenor saxophone, Larry Grenadier-bass, Matt Slocum-drums. Produced by Jerome Sabbagh. Recorded and Mixed by James Farber. Mastering by Bernie Grundman. 

We work with Jason Smith and Grey Matter Audio to make great sounding tape copies. Each tape copy is dubbed directly from the master tape, to get as close as possible to the sound of the master tape itself and avoid generational loss. 

The regular format of our tape copies is 1/4 inch 15 ips IEC/CCIR, but other formats are available upon request. At 15 ips, each record fits on two 10.5 inches metal reels, each tape corresponding to a side of the LP. Each set of tapes includes test tones to calibrate your machine. A high resolution download is also included.
